What makes this Avocado Ranch Dip so awesome?
Simplicity. It’s so easy with only 4 ingredients!
Whole Food Focused. Avocado, cucumbers, and lime are the stars here.
Nutrition. It’s full of that all-important GOOD FAT.
Multi-purpose. Try it as a sandwich spread or chili topper OMGYUM.
Few great recipes are completely original, and this is no different. The inspiration was thanks to a recent trip to the West coast. I took off My younger sis and I took off for a quick vacay, heading to southern Cali to visit my brother and brother-in-law.
Cue the sunshine, palm trees, coffeecoffeecoffee, and long walks around San Diego and Palm Springs. We walked miles and miles each day. I thought I was the avid pedestrian in my family, but turns out my brother, Bob, is a pedi superstar!
The food was legendary, both while out and about, and hanging at home. My brother-in-law, Clark, whipped up an avocado dip to go with his delish parmesan portobello fries. It was a perfect pairing, the creamy smooth avocado dip against the mild crunch of the baked mushroom ‘fries.’
Since we’re all avocado crazy here in my house, I resolved to create a similar version as soon as I shook off the jet lag. So, huge props to my multi-talented brother-in-law for the recipe inspo for this Avocado Ranch Dip!
